Born in New York City, Aaron was raised in an artist’s loft in SoHo before either lofts or SoHo were cool. He studied both performing and plastic arts for years, eventually studying physical theatre at the Evergreen School of Performing Arts in Massachusetts and contemporary choreography at Concordia University in Montréal, Québec.

After university he encountered a career-changing accident and wrote the book & lyrics for a musical, ‘Jerusalem’, which was produced at the Saydie Bronfman Centre in Montréal. In 1998 he joined a small web design house, JumpMedia, as copywriter and designer, and he has never looked back.

Since then he has worked as copywriter for a large web company in Montréal and art director for a small publishing house in Halifax, N.S. He has worked as a freelance designer and illustrator since 2004. His clients include American Express, DHL, the Government of Canada and Camel. He is currently developing plans to take over the world through the rampant spread of senseless beauty. Look for it in a home decor shop near you beginning late 2009.
